Advertising and Event Sales
We are looking for individuals that live across the globe who are aggressive and self-starters, who discover, generate and develop revenue and consistent sales leads. The ideal candidate is also motivated to succeed in the sales arena and has a proven track record of that success. Sales executives are expected to solicit prospective clients for print, Internet and events. Candidates must possess strong computer/Internet skills, organizational skills, excellent time management and a strong work ethic. Candidate must have some media or outside sales experience and be able to turn marketing information into advertising contracts. Marketing Manager
This person will work with all Black Intellect Café products in the area of marketing and will be responsible for creating, developing and executing marketing communications plans and vehicles to increase subscribers, web viewers and special event/special project participation. The qualified candidate will work also with outside partners and advertisers to develop and deliver effective communications to our audiences. The qualified candidate will work with the Publisher and Editor In Chief to develop: website/email copy and actionable prompts to drive viewer response; prepare media releases and broadcast scripts for various media efforts, coordinate talking points, web assets and other assets for vendor/advertiser/sponsor programming and content. Ideal candidate will have: experience proofing/editing and writing copy, a B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field or quantifiable job experience. excellent communications skills, proficiency in PC environment- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and familiarity with HTML, Photoshop a plus, but not required.
